My baking journey started over 20 years ago as a hobby in my own kitchen. I love baking anything — from a simple banana loaf to an elaborate celebration cake — if it can be baked, I’ll bake it. It’s that love of homemade, comforting baking that is at the heart of everything I make.

I was incredibly honoured to be invited to appear on The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice to showcase one of my bakes — a moment that turned my lifelong hobby into something more.

Today, Bake by Emily specialises in freshly baked cupcakes and loaf cakes, all handmade to order. From our soft vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, to our signature floral cupcakes and best-selling sweet loaves — Marble, Orange, Lemon, Banana, Chocolate Chip and Lemon & Pistachio — every loaf is baked as a whole cake for sharing.

I also bake cosy Greek favourites close to my heart, including our rich Greek Walnut Cake (Karithopita) and savoury bakes like our traditional Halloumopita, Red Pepper & Green Olives Loaf and Halloumi & Caramelised Onions Loaf — perfect warm, with family.

Everything is freshly baked to order with 48 hours notice. Collection is available from N14, with £5 local delivery available.
